RepairAmigo is free, self-hosted software for cell phone, computer and electronics repair shops. It was built inside a busy phone, console and computer repair shop in Texas, USA, and used there to process more than 50,000 repair tickets. It covers the whole day at the counter, from drop-off to pick-up, on one screen. Intake takes seconds: returning customers are found by phone number, and device, brand and model pickers plus per-device problem lists keep intake consistent. Pricing is calculated the moment a problem is picked. Labor, parts and tax come from the shop's own price list, with aftermarket and premium screen tiers, minimum labor and add-ons, and missing prices are flagged instead of guessed. Technicians update tickets with the repair performed, custom statuses and comments, and saving an update deducts parts from inventory and, if the shop has turned on optional texting, texts the customer. RepairAmigo also includes live inventory for screens and parts, cash management for the register and safe, Owner, Manager and Technician roles with change logs, commission tracking per technician, built-in warranty returns, reports, and a cash sale screen for accessories and walk-ins. RepairAmigo runs as a virtual machine in the free VirtualBox software on a Windows, Linux or Intel Mac computer in the shop. Staff use it from a web browser on any computer, tablet or phone on the shop's network, and the shop keeps its own data. Made in Texas, USA.
